Needle felted sculptures
Needle felting it's felting without water.I use special barbed felting needle to sculpture wool I push the top layer of wool into deeper layers, fiber "stick " to itself without soap and water.
To make one sculpture I have to poke the razor sharp barbed needle in to raw unspin wool thousands of times until the fibers matt together to form a 3D solid felt.
To make clothe for my sculptures I use old wet felting technique

MY Super Sculpey doll
To create sculptures I'm using Super Sculpey , Apoxie Sculpt sometimes paper clay.
My doll head , legs and hands -Super Sculpey and her body is soft material . Her hair is 100% mohair. I paint her eyes and face with acrylic.
Most difficult was to make a dress and shoes. I had to study 18 century fashion,I had to learn all about it including hair style , shoes ,fabric and many other small details.
I love how shoes came out,I spend almost 2 days making them .
